(EXPERIENCE) Follow Excitement : Thought Of The Day

What truly excites you? Life has the potential to be monotonous, unstimulating and slow. We all share the same twenty four hours in a day, but how many of those twenty four hours are truly spent pursuing the things that excite us,  the things that drive us , the things that make us feel... alive? Follow your urges, whether that is creative, spiritual, emotional or financial. Take risks, learn from the ones that didn't work out and most importantly... live. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Thank you for taking the time to read this short post. (EXPERIENCE) Do Not Serve From An Empty Vessel: A Thought For The Day

In order to positively impact those around us, we have to prioritise our own happiness. I know,  it sounds selfish and counter productive but how can you expect to change somebody and their state when your wellbeing is ignored? Many people believe that serving others willingly and ignoring their own needs, wants and wishes is the key to peoples respect and admiration. In many cases, this is totally false. In order to truly help people, you must first help yourself. Why do you choose to continually help someone that gives nothing in return? Why do you continually work yourself to the point in which you have no energy for YOU, let alone other people? If you truly wish to help other people, take the time to help yourself by investing energy, time and commitment to YOUR wants, needs and wishes. You cannot serve from an empty vessel. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Thank you for taking the time to read this post. I hope that

(VISION) Start Today

The biggest lesson I have learned recently is that time waits for nobody. If you have something that you believe is going to be successful, don't wait until tomorrow - it might never come. Don't wait for next week, you might not see the end of the day. What you have on your side is the moment - the moment you finally decide to commit to yourself and your ideas to materialise them into something tangible. If it isn't successful, you've learned something valuable. If it works, kudos to you - get working on the next idea. By starting today, you open yourself up to getting closer to where you envision yourself to be, where you deserve to be. It doesn't have to be a dream, you have the tools necessary to make it a reality - so start today. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Thank you for taking the time to read this post. (EXPERIENCE) Three Questions To Ask Yourself Every Day

To paraphrase one of my idols Tony Robbins, you are a result of the questions you ask. In order to get the most out of the life you live, you have to master the art of asking questions - it really is an art. Below are some of the questions I like to ask myself daily. Question 1: What Am I Grateful For? A simple question, but the answers really set an emphasis on the things that you are grateful for in the moment. By being proactive in your search for gratitude, you increase your receptiveness for positivity. The more you inhabit a positive state, the more likely you are to want to work towards the goals that you have set for yourself and spread this state of positivity further. Question 2: What Can I Do To Help? This question is flexible. What can you see in the world around you that you believe needs your attention? It can be something as simple as an Instagram post designed to fire up your friends or a small donation to a charitable organisation. When you give for the sak

(EXPERIENCE) Making This Summer The Foundation Of Your Best Year

Summer is a time synonymous with relaxing, unwinding and making the most of the limited amount of heat we get (to all my UK readers, it's tough I know). Exams are done, there is no academic responsibility and we suddenly have so much time on our hands. What do we actually do with this time though? How much of it is spent doing... nothing? We have all experienced the moment when summer comes to an end and we are sat there questioning what we have actually done for the past three months - it can be quite frustrating, especially when we have to go back to uni/college/school. This article is designed to help you uncover ways in which you can make summer your most productive time period and use this time to level up yourself and your personal development. Invest Time Into Passions What really interests you? The summer period is a fantastic time to really immerse yourself in 'passion projects' that your attention can be fully invested into.
