(EXPERIENCE) A Thought About 'The Process'.

The time frame between setting and completing a goal is without a doubt my favourite part of the journey - it is the feeling I constantly chase.
When you commit to the process and you commit to a vision the end result shouldn't be surprising, it should be expected.
Arrogance is derived from ego, confidence is derived from hard work.
Hard work resides in the process.

Embrace the process and reside in the constant journey that is goal allocation and completion. If you're working consistently and meeting your expectations then you have the right to talk about your achievements.

(BUSINESS) Altiefe Presents Launching An Idea Part 2: The Passionate Area

Welcome to the second article of this ‘Launching an Idea’ series. In the first article, we looked at identifying a driving force (available to read here ), today we are going to be looking at transferring that driving force over to a passionate area. What is a passionate area? Passionate area: A creative pursuit that a person feels most comfortable and most free to operate within. This is usually a specific area within a wider discipline/creative pursuit e.g. A fashion vlogger . Chances are, if you're reading this article you have an idea of what it is you want to do or where abouts your creative idea is going to be situated – the passionate area is a little more specific, though. To give this article some context, a friend of mine is a fantastic music producer. He can produce a number of different genres of electronic music and has found success in most of them but his main passionate area is within dubstep. Now, some of you may hear dubstep and go ‘yuck!’ b...

(EXPERIENCE) Making This Summer The Foundation Of Your Best Year

Summer is a time synonymous with relaxing, unwinding and making the most of the limited amount of heat we get (to all my UK readers, it's tough I know). Exams are done, there is no academic responsibility and we suddenly have so much time on our hands. What do we actually do with this time though? How much of it is spent doing... nothing? We have all experienced the moment when summer comes to an end and we are sat there questioning what we have actually done for the past three months - it can be quite frustrating, especially when we have to go back to uni/college/school. This article is designed to help you uncover ways in which you can make summer your most productive time period and use this time to level up yourself and your personal development. Invest Time Into Passions What really interests you? The summer period is a fantastic time to really immerse yourself in 'passion projects' that your attention can be fully invested into. By becoming engross...

(EXPERIENCE) What Meditation Has Taught Me: The Importance Of The Present

I have been recently delving into the discipline of meditation. I aim to practice only ten minutes a day, everyday. I would like to share with you perhaps my biggest breakthrough regarding meditation - the importance of the present. As a young creative, I am constantly looking either forwards  into the future visualing my goals or backwards  into the past - learning from my mistakes.  I found that through practice, particularly in guided meditation that I was ignoring arguably the most important time frame - the now . It suddenly dawned on me. In order to bring my future aspirations into fruition I have to examine my actions in the present moment to ensure that they fit with what I aim to achieve in the future . The same applies for my past - in order to ensure that I am learning from any mistake or painful experience, I have to be cognisant of what I am doing in the now to ensure that I am truly implementing changes from what I have learned fr...
